Michael Wayne Bailey, age 62, of Hobart, IN, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Michael is survived by his daughters: Meranda Lynn (Tyler) Purtee of Valparaiso, IN, Emily (Jonathan Pertusson) Hamilton of Lake Station, IN; grandchildren: Kaylee Hamilton, Piper and Alexander Pertusson; siblings: Danny Glenn (Denise) Bailey of Hobart, IN, Jerry Lynn (Dee) Bailey of Michigan City, IN and Andrea Bailey of Hobart, IN; nieces: Christina Bailey, Sara (Brock) Jenkins and Rhiann Bailey; nephew, Joshua Bailey.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents: Floyd and Mary Jo (nee Hammers) Bailey; and sister, Pamela Bailey.

Michael graduated from Hobart High School, Class of 1980. He was a truck driver for all of his working years and also delivered newspapers. Michael was an avid bowler and couponer.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lily Cremation & Burial in Portage, IN.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Michael 's name to his family.
