Bonedita Brown (nee Lipke) "Bo"
Hobart -- Bonedita Brown "Bo" (nee Lipke), 39, a lifelong Hobart resident, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 24, 2001. She was a graduate of Hobart High School, class of 1980. Employed by Portage Central Elementary School as a Computer Lab Technician; member of First Christian Church of Hobart and Girl Scout Leader in Hobart. Bonedita was a very loving, caring, mother, wife and friend. She had energy about her that brought out the best in every situation. Although she has left this world, she is not gone. She will live in our hearts forever.

Survivors are loving husband of 18 years, Ken Brown and two daughters, Cassandra and Danielle Brown, all of Hobart; parents, TexOnedita (nee Greer) and DeForest Lipke of Hobart; grandparents, Audie and the late Earl Greer and LaMae and late Bill Stott; one sister: Theresia (Jeff) Larimore of Merrillville; one brother: DeForest Jr. of Hobart; mother and father-in-law, Wilmer and Lucy Brown of Lake Station; two brothers-in-law, Robb (Linda) Brown of Hobart and Charley Brown of Florida; one sister-in-law, Annie Brown of Lake Station; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

Funeral services Wednesday, February 28, 2001, 10 a.m. at the First Christian Church of Hobart, Rev. Christopher Higgins officiating. Interment, Valparaiso City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Burns Funeral Home, Hobart, corner of Rt. 51 and 7th Street, on Tuesday from 1 to 8 p.m. and at the First Christian Church of Hobart on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be appreciated.
