John G. Novak, age 53, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016. Born in Gary, Indiana on May 10, 1962 to the late John L. Novak and Dorothy Sabocik. John was a devoted Bears and Cubs fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 21 years, Victoria Novak; children: John S. Novak, Jennifer Rodriguez, Andrea Leydet, Jessica (Erik) Mullner; one grandson, Junior; brother, Thomas (Diane) Novak; sisters: Lynn Novak and Patricia Novak; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents. John will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Rendina Funeral Home (5100 Cleveland St. Gary, IN) from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. For more information please call 219.980.1141.
