Jane Webber (Klump) - Class Of 1954

Jane, loved and cherished by many, passed away peacefully in Reno, Nevada at the age of 87.

Jane began her teaching career after graduating from Indiana University in 1958. It brought Jane joy to be in the classroom with her first grade students where she taught at Greenbrae Elementary for 30 years.

Jane was a loyal and gifted teacher, she understood children and the process for individual and group instruction. Jane created wonderful memories for her students and they enjoyed being with Mrs. Klump. On occasion, Jane would run into some of her students as adults and it always made her happy they remembered her and had kind words to say about their time in her first grade classroom.

Jane was preceded in death by her Amazing Husband Gene Klump, Parents Hugh and Vera Webber, Brothers Jim Webber, Tom Webber, Sister Mary Ann Smith, Great grandniece Elliot Ruff, Great grandnephew Lennon Ruff. Nephews Dave Grashuis, Chuck Ruff.

Those left to cherish her memory are Nieces Kathryn Grashuis, Julie(Ronnie)Rodriguez, Lynn(Mike)Domin, Dorita Lavish. Nephews Jimmy(Tim)Webber, John Webber, Steve(Lisa)Holder. Grandnephews Dustin(Jenny)Ruff, Damian(Katelyn)Ruff, Danny(Cindy)Rodriguez, Jon-Mikel Rodriguez, Jory(Rebekah)Rodriguez, Erik, Zachary,Ryan, and Kyle Domin. Great grandnieces Ione Ruff, Charlotte Rodriguez. Great grandnephews Maddox Ruff, Jack and Conner Rodriguez. Ramirez Family, Torrez Family. Jane also leaves behind many other family members and close friends that she referred to as her "Spiritual Family. " A very special thank you to Tom and Maura Cox who went above and beyond and devoted many hours of loving help to our aunt. We will forever be grateful for their kindness.

Jane loved animals and helping people that she frequently donated to the Reno SPCA and to Reno Sparks Gospel Mission. If you choose to, please donate in her honor.

Rest in peace, Aunt Jane. We all love you and we will miss you, especially your funny humor! Thank you for always helping us see the lighter side of life and to think independently.
