OBITUARY FROM THE TENNESSEAN (NASHVILLE, TN), MARCH 19, 2018:

Jo Anne Williams passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018. She is preceded in death by husband, Joe Williams; sister-in-law, Margaret Patton; parents, Harry and Vera Singer. She is survived by special nephew Mike (Terri) Patton and Patton Family; daughter, Janelle (Scot) Simmons; granddaughter, Ashley (Brandon) Parsley all of Nashville; sisters, Kathryn (Tony) Kozlinski of Hohenwald, TN, and Judith Singer Fisher of Indiana; special friend and care taker, Rita (Mike) Brashwell of Goodlettsville, TN; friend, Judy Beasley of Hendersonville, TN; nephews, Mark (Marisol) David Jeffrey, Sr., William and Jeffrey, Jr. of IL; and niece, Julia also of IL.

Jo Anne graduated from Hobart High School in Hobart, IN Class of 1954. She attended St. Thomas School of Nursing and graduated in 1958 with R.N. Degree. She was employed by Metro Health Department for 34 years.

May god rest her tired soul; she was a fighter until the end.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with a family eulogy at 7:30 p.m. at Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Holy Name Catholic Church with time to be decided.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Holy Name Catholic Church.
