John N. Klein, age 58, of Merrillville, passed away on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 surrounded by loved ones, after a short battle with cancer.

John is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kimberly Klein (nee Reeves); brothers: Richard (Jean) Frye of Borden, IN and Milton (Donna) Klein of Powder Springs, GA; sister, Karen (Tom) Woodard of Bloomington, IN; mother-in-law, Donna Reeves of Merrillville, IN; brother- in-law, Randy Reeves of Wheeler, IN; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna L. Klein; and sister-in-law, Shenna Reeves.

John was formerly employed at Gary Steel Products for 29 years, before his employment with the State of Indiana Highway Department, and enjoyed NASCAR and fishing.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Geisen Funeral and Cremation Services, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN from 1:00 PM until time of service at 6:00 PM with Fr.
