OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, DECEMBER 22, 2008

Carolyn Lynn Vogel, age 64, of Hobart, IN passed away on Friday, December 19, 2008. She was born on June 12, 1944 to Adolf and Elizabeth Vogel.

Carolyn is survived by a few cousins in Alabama and Washington state. Carolyn was a faithful member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hobart, a member of the Altar Guild, member of the Mary Martha Circle and the Thrievent Lutherans. She also retired from the Hart Marx Corporation as a payroll clerk.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. directly at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Frederic Lams. Friends may visit with family from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Friends may also visit with the family on Monday, December 22, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge, Hobart, IN.
