Ronald "Fluffy" Scott - Class Of 1967

POST-TRIBUNE, NOVEMBER 15, 2003:

RONALD L. SCOTT "FLUFFY" Age 54 of Valparaiso, passed away at home Thursday, November 13, 2003. Fluffy had been a lifelong Hobart-Valparaiso area resident and was a member of Hobart High School graduating class of 1967. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of Vietnam. Fluff retired in 2003 from Ispat with 30 years of service and was a member of the 25 year club. Fluff was a former vice precinct committee person and bowled on a league at Camelot for many years. Fluff loved his family and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He went to live with Jesus and God-Our Bestest Buddy.

Survivors: loving son of Claude G. & Mary Frances Scott; his wife, Candis; 5 children, Tanya Block of Louisville, KY, Ronald G. Scott of Valparaiso, Amy Scott of Valparaiso, Crispin Block of Portage, Adam Scott of Valparaiso; 4 grandchildren, Tyler Scott, Treier Vega, Simone Edwards, Rianna Block; 2 brothers, Michael (Alcia) Scott of Virginia, Jerry (Michelle) Scott of Portage; sister, Diane L. (Tom) Novak of Hobart; many loving nieces, nephews, and friends; special cousin, Greg Demps who introduced him to the love of his life. Fluff, you will always be that sunny day we once had along our way.

Funeral service Saturday, November 15, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. from Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Rev. Calva Sanders officiating. Burial Calvary Cemetery, Portage. Visitation Friday 2-9 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart.
