Age 53, of Hobart, a Hobart resident for over 40 years, passed away suddenly of natural causes, Wednesday, July 12, 1995. He was a graduate of Hobart High School Class of 61 and a graduate of Valparaiso University, an American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) of Phoenix, Az. He was the director of the Lake County Association for the Retarded Inc. of Gary. He was also a member of the First Methodist Church of Hobart. Survied by his wife, Sharon of Hobart; daughter, Jennifer Reickert of Naperville, Il, son, John Robert (Ian) Reickert of Hobart; mother, Nina Beckman of Portage; sister, Betty Gawlik of Snellville, Ga. There will be a Memorial service on Saturday July 15, 1995 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Hobart, Rev William Kaster officiating. There will be no local visitation. Memorial tributes may be given to the family. Burns Funeral Home & Crematory, Hobart in charge of arrangements.
