Angeline "Angie" Grandys (nee Rocoff), age 86, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Angie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Thomas Grandys; three daughters: Laurie, Cheri and Deborah; sister-in-law, Frances Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Mary Rocoff; and sister, Judith Rukavina.
Angie was a graduate of Hobart High School. In her early years, she worked at U.S. Steel as a comptometer operator and then spent her time raising her daughters before working in a number of secretarial positions. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church. Angie was an avid reader. She and Tom loved to travel and her greatest experience was seeing her relatives during their trip to Poland. She was an excellent cook and passed her love of cooking to her daughters. Angie enjoyed the companionship of many dogs throughout the years.
Per Angie's request, services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Angeline's name to Dunes Hospice.
