Bonnie Jean (Beckett) Peck, 83, passed away peacefully on May 1st, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Bonnie was born on May 13th, 1942, to Ruby and Robert Beckett in Gary Indiana. After growing up in Hobart, Bonnie met the love of her life, Dennis Lee Peck and they were married on July 2nd, 1960. Together they had four children. Jeff and Todd Peck are already in heaven waiting along with Dennis. Surviving daughters are Dawn M Rojas and Juli K Hayes, both of North Judson. Bonnie was blessed with 8 grandchildren: Amanda, Holly, Jamie, Jordan, Taylor, Samuel, Zachary and Alex. From those grandchildren Bonnie loved 19 more great grandchildren.

Bonnie is survived by one brother John (Diana) Beckett of Hobart Indiana and many nieces and nephews that she adored. Preceding her in death besides Dennis, Jeff and Todd were her siblings Bobbie Beckett, Carol Johnson, Kay Lamphier and Mary Woodworth.

Bonnie had many passions in life, but her pride was being a mom and grandma to her own flock and many others along the way. Bonnie enjoyed playing many types of games and puzzles with her dear friends and was a darn good bunco and dice player as well.

Bonnie will be remembered for her generous and giving heart, her sassy mouth and her strong opinions. Please join us for a Gathering of Family and Friends on May 17th, 2026 at O’Donnell Funeral Home from 11-1 pm CST. Bonnie and Dennis will both be laid to rest at San Pierre Cemetery.
