Diane R. (Swartzlander) Paske, 82, passed peacefully at her home on November 26, 2024. The daughter of Eldon and Clara Jean (Goff) Swartzlander was born in Gary, IN on December 1, 1941. She grew up in Hobart, IN and graduated from Hobart High School.

After a whirlwind courtship she married the love of her life Bob Paske and they began their family. Diane adored her children and grandchildren and loved to attend their events, she also loved to make the Holidays as special as possible for all of them. In her free time Diane liked to garden, decorate houses, and play cards with her friends. She especially loved bridge.

Diane leaves behind her son Bob (Becki) Paske; daughter Traci (Mark) Greenberg; five grandchildren Jessica (Chris), Kyle (Sarah), Ryan (Mary), Jake (Pallavi), Josh; her seven great grandchildren Hannah, Jude, Alyssa, Robbie, Sophia, Nolan, and Mason; sister Karen Yarsh; many beloved nieces and nephews; and her favorite companion, her dog Buddy.

Diane was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Bob Paske, her parents Eldon and Clara Jean Swartzlander. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. There will be a private family gathering scheduled for a later date.
