Funeral Services for Donald C. Dowd, 78, will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 1:00 PM at First Assembly of God Church, visitation will be from 11:00 to 12:30. Rev. Alfred Nettles will officiate and interment will follow at Desert View Cemetery.

Donald was born in Rensselaer, Indiana on December 18, 1933 and entered into rest on March 31, 2012 in Flagstaff, Arizona. He was a conductor for BNSF for 35 years, and retired in 1998.

He loved the Lord and taught adult bible study and First Assembly of God. He loved hunting and fishing and loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Rita J. Dowd; sons, Don, Greg, Billy, Cardon and Kevin; daughters, Kathy, Celia, Tammie and Tina; sister Norma L. Ondo; brother Ron Dowd; 21 grandchildren and approx 22+ great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by mother Vergie Odetta Dowd and father Carl Everett Dowd.
