Betty Lou Rose, 78, of Wooster, born Feb. 22, 1933, in Newborn, Tenn., to Elmer and Thelma Hugueley, passed away on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011.
She was retired from the Conway Human Development Center. She was a member of Wooster First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Milton Rose; and a sister, Jo Ann Hugueley. Betty is survived by two sons, Randy Rose (Jill) of Harrison and Tim Rose (Penny) of Greenbrier; a daughter, Carole Ann McNew (David) of Quitman. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A special thanks to Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab and Odyssey Hospice for the wonderful care given to her. Memorials can be made to Wooster First Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, at Wooster First Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, at the church. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Holland. Arrangements made by Arkansas Funeral Care, 501-982-3400.
