JIMMY D. THOMAS Lake Station, Indiana Jimmy D. Thomas, age 74, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009. He was born on December 6, 1934 in Lake Station, IN. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from U.S. Steel February 28, 1994 where he worked as an overhead crane operator. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; 5 children: Jimmy of Lake Station, Jesse, Paris, TN, Vicki, Hobart, Rachel, Hobart, and Erik, Jonesborough, TN; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Virginia Harding of Lake Station, Bonita Westphal of MO; 1 brother, John Thomas of Lake Station. He was preceded in death by parents, John & Ethel Thomas, one sister, Imogene Margison.
