Walter Trumbo Obituary

Walter "Gene" Trumbo, of Merrillville, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021. He was 89 years old. He is survived by his loving daughter, Deborah (late Lance) Buckmaster, and his two treasured grandchildren: Janessa and Michael Buckmaster. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia.

Gene is a long time resident of the region, and a member of American Legion Post 430, VFW Post 5365, as well as the Loyal Order of Moose Hobart Lodge, and he served our country proudly in the U.S Army.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 23, 2021 with visitation from 10:00 AM until time of service at Rendina Funeral Home (5100 Cleveland Street, Gary). For info, call 219-980-1141
