Dorothy Jeanne Snodgrass, 72, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012. She was born in Hobart, Indiana and lived in Jacksonville most of her life. She was a direct descendant of Daniel Boone and was a member of the Boonesborough Historical Society. She was also a Daughter of the American Revolution. Survivors include her husband, Richard Dick Snodgrass; 5 daughters, Jenilynn Weaver, Cindy Jeffords (Blane), Betsy Ross, Laura Riggs (Chad) & Teresa Boyd (Chris); 8 grandchildren, Carlos David Hidalgo, Derek & Dalton Jeffords, Trevor & Matthew Ross, Jenna Eve & Hailee Riggs and Carter Boone Boyd. Graveside services will be held 11 AM Friday, November 30, 2012 at Riverside Memorial Park with Ronnie Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside from 10:30 AM Friday until the time of the service.
