Carolyn Joann “JoJo” Brickman
Age 84, of Hobart passed away Saturday, March 28, 2025, at Southlake Methodist. She was born the daughter of Carrol and Ruby (nee Harrell) Clemens in Perry Co, Illinois on October 2, 1940. She attended Hobart High School and was a retired apartment manager for GB Management. JoJo lived for her family and had great warmth, kindness, and love for her grandchildren, and an unbreakable bond with her youngest grandson Joshua. She enjoyed dancing, listening to country music or fifties doo-wop, and spending time with her ladies’ group “The Pigs”, being the last remaining member they are all reunited. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Webb; eight grandchildren, Ben Eickstead, Kacie (David) Moscrip, Matt (Kate) Eickstead, Kara (Curtis) Houck, Zachary (Jovana) Eickstead, Kristin (Dominique) Houck, Sam (Kellie) Houck and Joshua Houck. Two great grandchildren, Julia and Benjamin Eickstead; numerous nieces and nephews; three great-nephews, Mike, Brad and Greg Clemens and many other loving family members and friends.
JoJo was preceded in death by her son, Rik Eickstead; her parents; and two brothers, Butch and Gene Clemens.
Per JoJo’s wishes there will be no services held.
