OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, MAY 11, 2005

Sharon Lea Tokash, age 64, of Hobart, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2005 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Sharon was a lifelong Hobart resident and a graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 1958. She was employed at Swartz, Retson and Company for over 25 years. She will be remembered for her deep love and devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, William R.; three sons: William (Tricia) Tokash of Downers Grove, IL, Thomas (Amy) Tokash of Indianapolis, IN and Robert (Cyndee) Tokash of Portage; mother, Betty Henry of Hobart; five grandchildren: Katherine, Andrew, Jenna, Clarissa and Anabelle Tokash; brother, James T. Henry of Portage; and other loving family members and close friends including Janet Salomon and Jim and Cnnie Lough; and former high school band members. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Mary Frances Tokash; and father, James F. Henry.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 12, 2005, 11:30 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Charles R. Strietelmeier officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage. Visitation is Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
