Duane C. Mishler, age 84, was born on December 10, 1940, in Davenport, IA to Duane and Alberta Mishler, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Sondra (Dick) Mackin.

Duane is survived by his two sisters: Charolette Moore (Jose) Ramirez and Jeanne Greco Doherty; children: Pam (Tim) Fish, John (Debbie) Mishler and Renee (Paul) Matthews; grandchildren: Megan (Beau) Bush, Lindsay (Bobby) Oberlander, Dillon Fish, Derek (Rachel) Fish, Dustin Fish, Ashley Matthews, and Bailey Matthews (Evan Pearson); great-grandchildren: Colton Lewis, Caden Lewis, Isabelle Bush, and Jameson Fish.

Duane loved to sing. He was a member of the Chorus of the Dunes Men’s Choir. Duane was also a cantor and choir member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and Holy Spirit Catholic Churches. He was a retired union electrician and a member of Local 697 for over 65 years. Most of those years were spent working with Hyre Electric.
