Carmen Hanna, age 84, of Hobart, passed away May 5, 2025, in Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Carmen was born, September 3, 1940, in Gary, Indiana to the late Concepcion and Belen (Sanchez) Rodriguez. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and wife. Carmen was a member of the Renovation Church in South Haven. She was a member of T.O.P.S. Carmen lived for her grandchildren. She loved bowling, reading, working crossword puzzles, listening to music, and watching classic movies.
Carmen is survived by her children, William (Ingrid) Hanna of Portage, and Danielle (James) Clark of Hobart; nine grandchildren, Nick Torres, Julian Torres, Christopher Hanna, Michael Hanna, Grant Hanna, Katherine Hanna, Emily Hanna, Paul Hanna, And Seth Hanna; five great grandchildren; her brother Louis (Marilyn) Rodriguez; and many other relatives and dear friends.
Preceded by her parents, loving husband and son Paul.
Visitation for Carmen will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday May 10, 2025, at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, Indiana 46342. Her funeral service will follow immediately at 4:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Jones officiating.
Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service was entrusted with her cremation.
