Dorothy “Dot” Louise DeBoy (Saynak) of Hobart, Indiana passed away at 85 years old peacefully on December 10th, 2024 in the company of her family.

Dorothy was born in Hobart, Indiana. She had a green thumb, loved to cook and bake, and was an avid reader. Dorothy went above and beyond for family and loved nothing more than to shower her grandchildren and great grandchildren with gifts and attention. She was loving and kind to all she met and was affectionately known as “Grandma Dot” to many. Dorothy was a bright light in everyone’s life she touched.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents: Dorothy Margaret (Saynak) and Matthew Daniel Graden.

Dorothy’s memory will live on in her husband: Darrell DeBoy; daughters: Lisa Stepanian and Lori Lancaster; son: Darren DeBoy; grandsons: Scott Stepanian and Matthew Lancaster; granddaughter: Mallory Kratimenos (Lancaster); and great grandchildren: Averie Stepanian, Harry Lancaster, and Zoey Stepanian.
