OBITUARY INFORMATION FROM CHFRISTENSEN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME (SCOTTSBURG, IN) WEBSITE:
Anita Helen Santacroce
July 17, 1935 — June 25, 2023
Anita Santacroce was the youngest child of six for Nunzio and Lucia, both immigrants from Italy. She was a devout Catholic who started her faith at St. Bridget’s Church in Hobart, IN. Anita volunteered for numerous activities including church carnivals, and she worked there to help put her daughter through the private school. Anita was always willing to help her friends and family. She worked for March of Dimes and Heart Association. Not only was Anita charitable, she loved to have fun, including taking her daughter “cruising.” She was a strong woman who beat a train accident, cancer, and a stroke. Anita was selfless, putting everyone else first even until the end. She treated her two grandsons like her own children, moving twice to help raise them. We know she is in heaven making spaghetti for God. Anita always made sure everyone was fed and happy -Mangia!
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, please see funeral home website for updates. Friends are invited to leave condolence messages for the family at www.christensenfamilyfuneral.com
