Norma Chase (Harms) - Class Of 1950

OBITUARY FROM THE NW INDIANA TIMES, JUNE 28, 2008

Norma F. Harms, age 75, of Hobart, passed away June 27, 2008. Norma was a lifelong Hobart resident and a 1950 graduate of Hobart High School. She was married to Eldon on December 5, 1953. She was active in the Saint Mary Medical Center Auxiliary, Winamac Old Auto Club and Northwest Indiana Early Ford V-8 Club. Norma was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hobart and also involved in the Trinity Couples Club and the Altar Guild.

Norma is survived by her husband of 54 years, Eldon; two daughters: Janice (William) Duncan and Joanne Harms all of Hobart; grandchild, Sean Duncan of Hobart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Carrie Chase, Sr.; one brother, Floyd Chase, Jr. and one sister, Kathleen Winston.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 30, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge, Hobart with Rev.
