OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, JUNE 10, 2008

Heather Renee Ehrhardt, age 30, a lifelong resident of Hobart passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008. She was born on December 17, 1977 in Hobart, IN, the daughter of Lawrence and Bonnie Ehrhardt. Heather was a 1996 graduate of Hobart High School and earned her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from Ivy Tech in 2006. She had worked for the Steel Family Health Care Center in Chesterton as a LPN. Heather loved to go shopping, spoiling her nieces and watching them play sports, enjoyed listening to the Dave Matthews Band, and had fun traveling. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all.

Heather is survived by her loving parents: Lawrence and Bonnie Ehrhardt of Hobart; sister, Rayna Ehrhardt of Portage; brothers: Steven (Sherry) Windsor of Portage and Eric (Jessica) Ehrhardt of Hobart; grandmother, Gerry Ehrhardt of Hobart; nieces: Wendy Windsor, Jordyn Windsor and Haley Windsor; good friends: Amy and Mike Kane of Cedar Lake; and other loving family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Lucille and Harry Nush; grandfather, Terry Ehrhardt; and uncles: Jerry and Harry Nush.

A visitation for Heather Ehrhardt will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home - Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN. A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald T. Walworth officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
