We are saddened to report the passing of accomplished local football legend Rudy Kuechenberg, who passed away at the age of 82. "Kuch", as he was commonly known, was a 1961 alumnus of Hobart High School and a 1965 graduate of Indiana University. Rudy had a successful career in professional football that included an NFL stint with the Chicago Bears before completing his career with the Chicago Fire of the WFL in 1974. All of us at Region Sports offer our condolences to his family and friends.
