Age 64, of Mason Ave, who was employed as an overhead operator for U.S. Steel, died Saturday at Emery L. Bennett Veterans Nursing Home. Delwin, a navy veteran, was born in Gary, and moved to this area in 1983 from Portage, In. He was also the owner of several businesses in Tarpon Springs, and was a golf professional. He enjoyed bowling, swimming, & traveling. Survivors include; two sons; Delwin III & Thomas, both of Tarpon Springs; two daughters, Arlene Soltys (Deltona) & Ann Piers (Rochester, NY); brother, David (Shererville); sister, Gloria Carr (Mansfield, TX); six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
