Age 66, originally from Hobart and San Pierre, and recently from Valparaiso, passed away on Tuesday Jan. 27, 2009 peacefully and quietly at home from natural causes. She was born on Dec. 11, 1942, the daughter of the late Percy and Kathryn Price.

Patty was an exceptional wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Her warmth, kindness, and generosity will be dearly misssed.

Patty is survived by her loving family, children; Robin (Elizie) Keaton of Valparaiso, Anthony (Bertha) Howison of Kankakees, Il. and ErIk (Kristen) Howison of Knox. She was blessed with nine grandchildren: Dustin, Donnie (Annie), Erika, Sabian, Nicholas, Zachary, Morgan, Michael, & Logan; and one great grandchild Dustin, Jr.: special daughter, Deanna (Randy) Lynch; sisters, Nancy Crussen of Hobart, and Linda Lindsay of Roselawn, In. and other loving family and dear friends.

Patty was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Howison; brothers, Robert Price & John Price; sisters, Norma Jean Wilson & Kathryn Jo Price; and grandchildren, Kayla & Cameron Keaton.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday Jan. 31, 2009 at 10 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel. with Rev. Jim Pradke officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetary Merrilville. Visistation will be held on Friday Jan 30, 2009 from 2-9 pm at Rees Hobart Chapel.
