84 year old, Raymond R. Flanigan, of DeMotte, passed away November 2, 2024, at his home.

On May 26, 1940, Raymond was born to Ralph and Ruby (Hamilton) Flanigan, in Gary, Indiana. He graduated from Hobart High School. Raymond married the love of his life, Janice Peacock, on May 19, 1985, at the Kniman United Methodist Church, in Kniman, Indiana. Raymond was a crane operator for NIPSCO. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, street rods, and especially his ’36 Ford red truck.

Raymond is survived by his loving family, wife: Janice Flanigan, children: Jim Flanigan, Jerry (Pamela) Flanigan, Todd (Kris) Flanigan, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and siblings: Alan (Gwin) Flanigan, Marge (Bob) Millus, Eileen Caribine, and Glen (Kim) Flanigan.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, and sister: Jayne (and the late Greg) Mioduski.

Per Raymond’s wishes cremation will take place.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
