Nelson Lee Lemon, 83, of Clear Lake City, Texas, passed on January 23, 2025. Nelson was born in Belpre, Ohio, and grew up in Hobart, Indiana. He was a long-time member of Clear Lake United Methodist Church. His leisure time was spent reading, golfing, visiting his many friends at his favorite breakfast spots, “resting his eyes” while watching Westerns, looking at the boats go by at the lake, and taking road trips. At 16, Nelson said his goal in life was “to love, and be loved.” As his family and friends can attest, he more than achieved that goal.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marcia, son Eric Lemon, daughter Stephanie Lemon, grandchildren Brenna Lemon and Evan Dodds, sister-in-law Debbie Lounsbury, nephew Jason Lounsbury, and niece Courtney Saab.

A memorial gathering will be held on February 1, 2025, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E. Medical Center Blvd, Webster, Texas 77598.
