OBITUARY INFOMRATION PROVIDED BY DAVID JANOTT, BROTHER:

Mary Kim Janott passed away February 15, 2024 at the age of 69.  Kim was born in Warsaw, Indiana during a family vacation.  She grew up in Hobart and graduated from Hobart High.  She attended Indiana University in Bloomington and completed her undergraduate work at Virginia Commonwealth University with majors in history and journalism.  Kim received her BA in 1993.

Kim lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for several years.  She worked for Macy's at the Union Square store in San Francisco and also worked at Mills Hospital in San Mateo.  Following her passions, Kim ultimately settled in Richmond, Virginia where she worked as a paralegal for numerous Richmond law firms until her retirement. 

Kim was devoted to her dogs.  From the time she was a teenager until the end of her life she always had a miniature dachshund by her side.  Her expressions of love and concern for her pets will always be remembered.
