William Louis "Bill" Scharbach

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our father, William Louis "Bill" Scharbach, on June 26, 2024 at the age of 70. He was surrounded by love and family.

Bill showed his passion for cars with his career choice of Master Ford Mechanic for over 20 years and then worked at a variety of private shops with those who were closest to him for another 20 years until his retirement. He then continued with his accomplished hobby of repairing, rebuilding and restoring cars until his passing. Bill was an amazing father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Preceding him in peace were his father, William Louis Scharbach, Sr.; mother, Marjorie Estella Scharbach (nee Altman); and sister, Janet Eierdam.

Those who continue to carry his memory in their hearts are his children: Elizabeth (Josh) Unate, Christopher (Kristina) Scharbach and Aaron (Diana) Memering; his 5 loving grandchildren; and his sisters: Kathy Wilson and Carol Scharbach.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave. Crown Point, IN 46307 from 4:00 PM until the time of Memorial Service at 6:00 PM.
