Julie Beal, 88, of LaPorte, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025 in LaPorte. She was born August 13, 1937 in Hobart, Indiana to Andrew and Julia (Szymaski) Korpac who both precede her in death. On August 6, 1963 she married her husband Charles. It was a wonderful marriage between both of them and they were married for 50 years. Charles, as well as their son Ron Becker also precede her in death.

Surviving are children John (Barbara) Beal, Charlotte (Greg) Berger, and Sherry (Mike) Lulinski, as well as 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Julie greatly enjoyed gardening, working outside, writing poems, and camping. Her poetry in particular earned her many awards and recognitions.

A funeral service will be held on Friday November 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso with Pastor Rich Schmidt presiding. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Care Alzhiemers Fund.
