OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, DECEMBER 17, 2003:

Joann E. Erbe, 66, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Joann was a lifelong Hobart resident and a graduate of Hobart High School, class of 1955. She was formerly employed at the Lake County Auditors Office.

She is survived by her daughter Sherri (Chris) Edwards of Hobart; son, Jeffrey Erbe of Hobart; beloved grand- daughter, Stefanie Edwards. Preceded in death by husband, Donald Erbe, mother, Lottie Jendrzejewski and sisters Victoria Cornelius and Jean Wilson.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 19, 2003, 11:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, with Rev. Anthony Valtierra officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Hobart. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society. Visitation is Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart, Chapel.
