OBITTUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, MAY 25, 2009:
Nancy K. Crussen, age 71, a longtime resident of Hobart passed away on May 22, 2009. She was born on October 14, 1937 in Hobart, the daughter of Percy and Kathyrn Price. Nancy was a 1955 graduate of Hobart High School. She was married to Lawrence W. Crussen in Crown Point in November of 1966. Nancy enjoyed reading, crafts, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all.
Nancy is survived by her loving family, Jim (Cheryl) Crew, Valparaiso, Bill (Lydia) Crew, Hobart, Rick (Marianna) Crussen, Bloomington, Mike (Teri) Crussen, Valparaiso, Cathy (Rick) Orosz, Lake Station, Cindy (Dave) Duarte, Valparaiso, and Jack (Sue) Crussen, Yukon, OK; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Linda Lindsay, DeMotte; sister-in-law, Shirley Price, Hobart; numerous nieces and nephews, and other loving family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence "Bill" Crussen; two grandchildren, Cole Crussen and Courtney Crussen; two brothers Bob Price, and John Price; three sisters, Norma Wilson, Pat Howisen, and Kathy Jo Price.
A visitation for Nancy Crussen will be held from 2:00 to 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at Rees Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Nagy, officiating. Cremation will follow with interment at Graceland Cemetery.
