WILLIAM ALBERT HANNA Age 66 of Lake Station, IN, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at the V.N.A. Hospice Center in Valparaiso. William was born in Hobart, Indiana on March 14, 1939 to William L. and Hattie (Templin) Hanna. He was a member of the South Haven Church of the Nazarene. He was very proud of having served his country in the U.S. Marines. William enjoyed spending time with his family and always looked forward to special family gatherings. William was retired from U.S. Steel Corporation having worked as a group leader in the MET Lab. He also was an avid fisherman in his spare time.

William is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Carmen Hanna; his children: William (Ingrid) Hanna, Danielle (Ivan) Torres, Paul (Denise) Hanna, all of Lake Station, IN; 9 grandchildren: Michael, Christopher, Grant, and Katherine Hanna, Nicholas and Jenna Torres, Emily, P.J. and Seth Hanna; his brother, John (Ruth) Hanna of Valparaiso, IN; his aunt, Helen (Paul) Petruska of Merrillville, IN; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2005, 7:30 p.m. at the Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN with Pastor Oneal Stover and Mr. Fred Luna officiating. Cremation will follow on Monday at Calvary Crematory, Portage, IN.
