Pamela Maureen Garnett (Batchelor) - Class Of 1976

OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, JUNE 5, 2009:

Pamela Maureen Batchelor, age 50, of Brazil, passed away unexpectedly June 2, 2009. She was born August 2, 1958 in Gary, IN to Allen and Betty (Shannon) Garnett. She graduated from Hobart High School. Following high school she began working as a medical transcriptionist. Pam moved to Brazil in 2001 and later married Terry Batchelor in Saline City July 10, 2005. She worked at Warren Tire as their secretary for several years. She enjoyed playing cards and dice, flower gardening and spending time with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Garnett.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Batchelor of Brazil; father, Allen Garnett of Lowell, IN; daughter, Amy Dobrowolski of Portage, IN; and son, Todd Dobrowolski of Valparaiso, IN; two stepsons: Jon Batchelor and wife, Shannon of Greencastle, IN and Josh Batchelor of Brazil; stepdaughter, Julie Wharton and husband David of Brazil; stepgrandchildren: Kirsten, Maddie, Lillie, Blake, Braeden, Laurynn and Hyleigh; brother, Randy Garnett of Benton Harbor, MI; and sister, Lynn Fontenot and husband Roger of Valparaiso, IN; as well as a large extended family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Lawson - Miller Chapel and Crematory with Pastor Tom Roeschlein officiating. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery.
