OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, MAY 22, 2005:

VERONICA F. BERGLIN Jasper County/ Formerly of Lake County Age 74 passed away Monday, May 9, 2005 at Our Lady of Holy Cross. She was a longtime area resident moving here from Duluth, Minnesota. She was a Hobart High School graduate and will be remembered by her family as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Veronica is survived by her son, Frank (Cory) Matthias of California; daughter, Patricia Ann Matthias (Scott) Thompson of Kansas; grandchildren, Robert Bochik, Elizabeth Myers, Tramay Yager, Samantha Bagby, Frank Matthias Jr. and Camron Matthias; guardian, Nancy Coleman. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Berglin; parents, Frank and Mabel Eicholz.

Memorial services will be held Monday, May 23, 2005 at 1 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Burial of Cremains will follow in Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville.
