OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, SEPTEMBER 4, 2003:

EDNA M. (LUTE) GRAHAM Age 87, of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at the VNA Horton Hospice. A lifetime area resident, she was born June 25, 1916 in Hobart to William E. and Martha (Bender) Lute and graduated from Hobart High School in 1934. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a past member of the Avion Travel Club and the Valparaiso Camera Club.

On April 8, 1939 in Hobart, she married Lyle T. Graham, who preceded her in death on July 4, 2002. She is survived by three children, Judith (Kenneth) Dobbins of Braden-ton, FL, Thomas Graham of Bristol, IN and Jean (James) Mathews of Altoona, IA; one sister, Helen Lute Rieck of Hobart; eight grandchildren and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Kathryn Lute, Mabel Meyer and Mildred Fasel and two brothers, Clarence and Robert Lute.

Funeral services will be Friday, 11 a.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso. Pastor William Meyer officiating with burial at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 4-8 p.m. and Friday morning, one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the VNA Horton Hospice. angelcrestinc.com
