OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, JUNE 27, 2009:

Howard R. Kramer, age 88, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009. Howard was a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident and graduate of Hobart High School. He was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. He was a retired US Steel employee.

Howard is survived by 2 sons, Mark (Linda) Kramer of Hobart, IN and Kit (Karen) Kramer of IL; and 1 granddaughter. He also has 7 surviving nieces and 3 nephews. Howard is preceded in death by his parents, Chris and Matilda Kramer; 6 sisters, 2 brothers and Grandson, Christopher Kramer.
