OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, SEPTEMBER 19, 2007:

Lorraine R. Lackey, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2007. She attended Hobart High School and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eulice Lackey; son, Michael Lackey; sister, Clara Braun; brother, Herbert Rieck; and half brother, Elmer Zabel. Lorraine is survived by 2 sons, Thomas (Dottie) Lackey of Hobart and David (Sharyn) Lackey of Valparaiso; 2 daughters, Toni (Pat) Marchette of Pittsboro, IN and Joyce (Paul) Oliver of Hobart; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Helen) Rieck of Hobart; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St., Hobart, Rev. Gerald Walworth officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Hobart. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene in Hobart, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family at Burns Funeral Home (Hobart) on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.
