OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, JULY 19, 2008:

Sally Ann Lamphear (nee Wingard) age 41, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Sally was a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident and graduated from Hobart High School. She was formerly employed at Lake County Emergency Management Civil Defense. Sally loved to bike ride and motorcycle ride.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Brittany Lamphear; parents, Charles & Christina Wingard of Gary; 5 siblings: Teresa (Scott) Harness of Crown Point, Bryan Wingard & Janiece Wingard (Larry Gore), both of Hobart, Danny Wingard of Gary and Dennis Wingard of Lake Station; nieces & nephews: Annette (Keith) McIndoo, Jason (Sarah) Harness, Tabatha Jeffress (fiance Chris Charleston) Skylar & Savannah Wingard; Alexis Wingard, Justin Cox, Daniel Cooper and great nephews. Her husband, Joe Lamphear preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be Monday, July 21, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Rev. Gary Nagy officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.Call 219-942-2109 or www.reesfuneralhomes.com.
