OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, JUNE 26, 2003:

DONALD E. LARGENT SR. Age 73 of Hebron, passed away at Porter Memorial Hospital, Tuesday, June 24, 2003. Donald retired from American Bridge Corp. He was a graduate of Hobart High School. Past Treasurer of East Glen Park Little League and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by wife, Barbara Largent; father, William Largent; sisters, Jean Robb and Marge Klimek. Donald is survived by 3 children, Donna (Terry) Norris of Hebron, Donald Jr. (Erin) Largent of Hebron, Daniel (Karen) Largent of Dyer; mother, Lucille "Mimi" Largent; sister, Ethel (Bud) Douthett of Crown Point; grandchildren, Matthew and Melanie Norris, Jessica and Kevin Largent, Brianna, Brittany, Justin and Hannah Largent; great granddaughter, Jordyn Norris; brother-in-law, Jim Robb and Paul Klimek; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 27, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, Rev. Richard Brown officiating. Burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Geisen Funeral Home Thursday from 3 -8 pm. Please visit www.geisen funeral.com
