OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, JUNE 4, 2005:

Ellen Lucille McHone, age 77, of Valparaiso, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, June 3, 2005 at the VNA Horton Hospice. She was born January 28, 1928 in Porter to Bert and Ethel (Cronk) Lewin. She graduated from Hobart High School and worked in the payroll department at Methodist Hospital.

Survivors include one daughter, Virginia (Don) Primrose of Huntsville, AL; one granddaughter, Cindy Lake of Pensacola, FL; two sisters, Dorothy Danskin of Highland, Helen Meese of Chesterton; one brother, Kenneth Lewin of Rio Verde, AZ and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. McHone in 1993; three sisters, Mildred Gast, Elizabeth Rasmussen and Marjorie Warrington and two brothers, Everette and Roland Lewin.

A committal service will be held on Monday at 2:00pm at the Graceland Cemetery Chapel with burial to follow. Memorials may be made to the VNA Hospice. Moeller Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. angelcrestinc.com
