OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, APRIL 1, 2004:

SARAH ANNE OLIVER (nee Sonntag) Age 72 years, of Linden House in Hobart, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2004. Sarah Anne had been a longtime Hobart resident also living in California and Wisconsin. She was a Hobart High School graduate, Class of 1949.

Sarah Anne is survived by 3 sons, Ernest (Pam Goethe) Oliver of Hobart, Bill (Debbie) Oliver of Merrillville, Brett (Lori Gallagher) Oliver of Neillsville, WI; 2 sisters, Lorraine (Ray) Kietzman of Hobart and Janet (Bob) Kirsch of Portland, OR; 2 sisters-in-law, Luella Sonntag of Lansing, IL and Joyce Sonntag of San Angelo, TX; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by 3 brothers, Johnny, Russell and Fred Sonntag; 1 sister, Rose Sonntag.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association. Funeral services Saturday, April 3, 2004, 11 a.m. from Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Rev. Larry K. Whitehead, officiating. Cremation Calvary Cemetery, Portage. Visitation Friday 5-9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart.
