OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, JULY 14, 2005:

RUTH PADOL (nee TITUS) Puyallup, WA Formerly Hobart, IN & MN Age 80, born January 4, 1925 in Butler, PA, passed away June 25, 2005 in Puyallup, WA. She is the daughter of Charles and Freda Titus. Graduate of Hobart High School, Hobart, IN. Beloved wife of Casimir (Casey) Padol, married January 14, 1945 in Hobart, IN. She lived in Indiana until 1978 then moved to Minnesota. Last year they moved to Washington to be near their daughter. Ruth was a Marine and was the first women veteran in the Indiana American Legion. Active in Eastern Stars, community, church and political organizations. She belonged to American Legion and Auxiliary, served in various offices or organizations. Ruth enjoyed sewing and oil painting.

Loving mother of four children: Joyce (Frank) Frey of WA, Charles (Pat) Padol of IN, Randall Padol of TX and Casey (Patrick) Wright of FL; 5 grandchildren: Kara, Daniel Frey, Angela (Chris) Lortie, Katherine and Michael Wright; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters.
