Jeremy Simpson - Class Of 1997

OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, DECEMBER 12, 2007:

Jeremy W. Simpson, age 28, of Hobart, IN passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 due to an accident. Jeremy was a graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 1997, attended St. Joseph College and played football at both schools. He was employed as a bricklayer and laborer working for many steel mills throughout the world. Jeremy was a wonderful son, husband, father, brother and was loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah (nee Westerfield) Simpson; son, Jacob; and daughter, Madalyn all of Hobart; his father, Rick (Shannon) Simpson of AL; his mother, Jan Simpson of OH; three brothers: Jason, Andrew and Riley Simpson; mother and father-in-law, Judy and Bob Westerfield; brother- in-law, Matt Westerfield; and sister-in-law, Kari Westerfield all of Hobart, IN.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Eastlake Baptist Church, 7121 E. Lincoln Highway (U.S. Rt. 30), Crown Point, IN with Danny Brubaker officiating. Services will terminate at the church with cremation to follow at the Burns Funeral Home Crematory. Friends may visit with the family at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th Street, Hobart, IN on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the Eastlake Baptist Church on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (time of services). Contributions may be made to the Jeremy Simpson Memorial Fund, c/o People's Bank, 1501 S. Lake Park Ave.,Hobart, IN 46342 or through the Burns Funeral Home.
