OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, MAY 17, 2005:

Carol M. Storey, age 89 of Hobart, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2005. She was graduate of Hobart High School, class of 1933 and Gary Business College. Carol was a member of the Eastern Star, the First Christian Church and a retired secretary from NIPSCO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Evan "Bud" Storey, parents: Frank and Anna Smith and brothers: Frank B. and Neal Smith. She is survived by her nephews: Ronald F. (Peggy) Smith of Portage and Dr. Dean R. (Nancy) Smith of Elkart; niece, Carol Hoots of Portage; aunt, Rose Hentschel.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 12 noon at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 77th St. Hobart. Interment in Hobart Cemetery. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon, the time of the service.
