OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, DECEMBER 24, 2007:

Julian Torres, age 28 of Hobart, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2007. He was a graduate of Hobart High School, class of 1998 where he was a member of the football team. He was an employee of Richard's Pool Service. Julian will be greatly missed by many.

Julian is survived by his father, Rafael (Lillian) Torres, Sr. of Chesterton and mother, Carmen Pluguez of Augusta, GA; brother, Rafael Torres, Jr. of Portage; sisters: Stephanie and Alexis Torres of Chesterton; grandmother, Petra Torres of Ocoee, FL; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St., Hobart. Cremation at the Burns Funeral Home Crematory will follow the service. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m.
