OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, SEPTEMBER 17, 2006:

JOSEPH JOHN TRIMMEL Hobart, Indiana Age 21, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2006. Joe was a Hobart resident for 7 1/2 years. He was a Hobart High School graduate in 2003; former Hammond resident. Joe had 2 1/2 years at Ball State University. He was a Cross Country runner and was known as "Mr. Cross Country". Joe was a very loving person with a heart of gold and a good Christian man.

He is survived by his parents, John and Marilyn Trimmel of Hobart; one brother, Paul (Jill) Trimmel of Brownsburg, IN; sister, Chrissie (Dan) Navarro of Merrillville; grandparents, John E. Trimmel of Hammond and Willi and Rita David of Hobart.

Funeral services will be on Monday, September 18, 2006, 7:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Rev. Richard Brown officiating. Visitation will be Monday, September 18th from 2-7 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home. Phone: (219) 942-2109. www.reesfuneralhomes.com.
